This year 4 Bagley golfers, coached by Amy Fontane and Suzie Brovold, advanced to the section meet. The meet was held at the Bemidji Country Club may 26 and 27. Lily Christensen (9th grade) had a two day total of 218 earning her 22nd place. Katy Thoresen (9th grade) had a two day total of 208, earning her 19th place. The section meet ended their season. Logan Dillich (11th grade) completed his season with a two day total of 187, placing 33rd. James Palmer (10th grade) had a two day total of 162, earning him 5th place and his third trip to state—along with the traditional, and truly appreciated es**rt through town returning to the school—Thank you to the Bagley Fire Department! The state meet will be held this week in Becker, beginning Monday with a practice round and competition Tuesday the 9th and Wednesday the 10th. Good luck James! Congratulations coaches and golfers on an amazing season!

Bagley 4th grade would like to thank Garden Valley Technologies and the PTO for their donation to our field trip. The students had a blast launching their canoes in the Clearwater River.

Thank Bagley American Legion for the monetary donation towards the purchase of a message board. We couldn't help but have a little fun with communication on the last day. Have a fabulous summer!

The Summer Reading BINGO Challenge is back for all students entering kindergarten through grade 6. The challenge was sent home with elementary students prior to the last week of school. There is a separate K-2 or 3-6 BINGO challenge this year. Complete any 5 in a row and return to the elementary school office the first week of school in September for a prize!

Sara Rother won third place in MCAD's Youth Art Show at the Nemeth Art Center for her photo "Tears". Not only did she win a cash prize, but her photo was sold during the show to a member of the public!
