GFL has notified Town Hall that today’s recycling collection will be delayed until tomorrow due to mechanical issues with their recycling truck.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience as they work to resolve the problem.

Public Works Notice: Infrastructure Improvements Underway

The Town of Bailey is performing important updates to our water and sewer infrastructure. As part of this work, Town‑appointed contractors may need to access portions of nearby properties, including yards or utility easements.

What to Expect
• Inspections, maintenance, repairs, or utility line replacement
• Contractors entering designated access areas as needed
• Efforts to minimize disruption and restore any affected areas

Important Reminders
• This work is essential to maintaining safe, reliable service for all residents
• Contractors are authorized by the Town of Bailey
• Please keep pets secured and avoid active work zones
• Access will be limited to areas required for the project
• All work will follow Town ordinance guidelines for construction hours and activity

Work has begun on the Town of Bailey’s water and sewer rehabilitation projects.

Crews will be using cameras and jetting equipment to inspect sewer lines and identify problem areas. This work requires access to sewer manholes and will involve crews working in streets, alleys, and yards where Town sewer lines are located.

GFL has notified Town Hall that today’s garbage service is currently delayed due to another truck breakdown. They are assessing whether the route will be completed later today or pushed to tomorrow and will provide an update as soon as possible.

We understand how frustrating these repeated disruptions have been and share the community’s concerns. Thank you for your patience as we await further information, and we will relay updates the moment they are received.
