Town of Baileyton, Alabama - Municipal Government

Town of Baileyton, Alabama - Municipal Government The Town of Baileyton, Alabama, incorporated in 1973, is the perfect spot to plant roots & raise your family. Agricultural community with a proud history.

Live a quiet yet wonderful life; surrounded by larger cities; and lacking all the hassle. The Town or Baileyton, incorporated in 1973 from the vision of A.R. "Rolfe" Burks and Billy John White, is the perfect spot to plant roots, settle down, and raise a family, especially if you enjoy the peace and tranquility of smalltown living without all the traffic, noise, hustle and bustle of city life. Ne

stled in North/Central Alabama in Cullman County, Baileyton is a relatively small community with roughly 750 residents who are all friendly, welcoming, helpful and neighborly. All of the essentials for living a simple life can be found locally or within a few miles. US Interstate 65 is 18 miles from here, and you can be in downtown Birmingham in roughly an hour. AL Hwy 69 & AL Hwy 67 intersect at the Baileyton Town Limits, and AL Hwy 69 runs right through the heart of town. Cullman is 15 miles northeast of us and the City of Arab is about 10 minutes away. You can be boating in beautiful Lake Guntersville in 20 minutes, Smith Lake in 45, and Huntsville in just 35 minutes. Baileyton is a progressive yet "small town" community, and we are always looking for ways to improve opportunities and quality of life for those who call Baileyton home. Since the 1990's, several things have been added, including a Family Medical Clinic, a Post Office, a state-of-the-art Elementary School, a 23-acre Industrial Park, two fire stations for the Baileyton Volunteer Fire Department, a bank, improvements in the 43-acre Town Park, and road improvements. A couple of staples to the Baileyton community are Walker Brothers LTD building supply and The Baileyton GoodTime Drag Strip! The Town of Baileyton invites anyone longing to settle down in a charming, picturesque community, or locate a new business or industry, to stop in for a visit. Come see for yourself what Baileyton, Alabama has to offer.
