As a reminder street sweeping will be held on Thursday, June 4th beginning at 7 AM. Please remove vehicles, boats and trailers from the streets until the street sweeper has been through. Thank you for your cooperation.

The annual Memorial Day Parade will be on Monday, May 25th at 9 am beginning at the Bainbridge Elementary School. The parade will travel down Second St to the Bainbridge Cemetery where a Memorial Day service will be held. The annual bicycle contest for kids will also be held. Dust off those bikes and get them decorated for the parade. A community picnic at the Bainbridge Fire House will follow. Any questions, contact Gina Mariani at 717-278-8484. The parade is rain or shine. If it is pouring, the service will be held at the Bainbridge Firehouse.

Yesterday, we had beautiful weather to celebrate the grand opening of Stackstown Park! We cannot thank all of our contributing partners enough. This project was truly a testament to community involvement!

We would also like to thank our state, county, and local officials for joining us, and give a special shoutout to the Bainbridge Fire Police for helping keep everyone safe.

Conoy Township will hold the Stackstown Park grand opening celebration on Friday, May 8th at 2 PM. Fire police will be directing traffic in the area. We ask that motorist use caution when driving near Stacktown and Sagerville roads during this time.

The completion of the Stackstown Park project is a testament to what can be achieved when communities come together. We extend our sincere appreciation for the hard work, professionalism, and collaboration shown by our team, our partnering municipalities, and the many volunteers who contributed. This group of men, along with several other individuals, provided essential support that helped Conoy Township bring this project to completion. Thank you for your dedication!

As a reminder, yard waste bags (brown leaf bags) and plastic bags are not accepted at our brush pile. Empty your bag on the correct pile and take your bag with you. Additionally, please do not deposit any garden w**d fabric. All yard waste and woody waste shall be free of any non-organic materials.

Covered Bridge Road is open to traffic. Thank you all for your patience during this project. The road will be closed in the spring for paving.  Additional information will be posted at that time.

JW Didado just called to inform us that they are working on behalf of MetEd and will have Locust Grove Road shut down at both ends for electrical wire and pole installation today, Friday, February 13, 2026 from 8 am – 3pm. Residents will have access to their properties, but may be rerouted to enter from the opposite side.
