Iphone and Android Cellphone/Device Training
If you are low vision or blind and live in the Bainbridge Advocacy Individual Network (BAIN, Inc) service area and you would like to know more about your iPhone and or Android device then you should join us!
All you need is to not be a current GVRA client, have your own device and be present for the hands-on instructor lead teaching brought to you by Fedora Outlier LLC and sponsored by the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency.
When: Tuesday June 18th from 11am to 3PM

BAIN, Inc. is opening a Subcil in Valdosta,GA! BAIN,Inc. has received funding to serve 14 more counties in Georgia.
BAIN, Inc. will continue to serve our 11 base counties of: Baker, Clay, Decatur, Early, Grady, Miller, Mitchell, Seminole, Thomas and Randolph.

BUT...BAIN, Inc. now serves the counties of Atkinson, Berrien, Brooks, Clinch, Colquitt, Cook, Echols, Dougerty, Lanier, Lee, Lowndes, Tift, Terrell and Worth.

Please come and let your voice be heard concerning the possible closure of 7 of 9 of the Voting Precincts. The 7 are mainly in African American precincts!! If the precincts are closed, this will hinder their voting ability in November. The are using the excuse of in-accessible the the disabled as an excuse. As a disabled person, we do not want to be used as the excuse to hinder people from voting! Please respond and add your support of NOT closing these precincts!!!

The National Federation of the Blind invites ALL Seniors, their families and the professionals who work with them to attend the Possibilities Fair for Seniors held during the 2018 State Convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Georgia

October 5 - 7, 2018.

Americans are living longer, and vision loss occurs more frequently among those who are older. More than 50% of the 70,000 individuals who become blind in this country each year are over the age of 65. This population is expected to more than double by the year 2030.

The fair will include a silent auction, an interesting mix of speakers with an array of information, fitness session to get you moving and, helpful hints concerning all seniors and those seniors losing vision and enjoying life! With or without sight, there will be something learned by everyone.

The fair begins Friday, October 5, 2018, Registration & Auction viewing at 12:30 PM Program - 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Fair Admission $5 per person.
