We have recently had several families in the North Putnam district receive phone calls about the child being taken. These are SCAM calls and they are using an AI copy of the child's voice. Please feel free to contact the school if you receive a call to check on your child. Just be aware we have had several of these SCAMS already.

Bainbridge, Indiana

On October 1, 2025 at approximately 7:39pm the 911 dispatch center received a call of a structure fire at 6243 E. Co Rd. 600 N. Bainbridge, IN. Smoke was seen coming from the residence. The first law enforcement officer on scene made entry into the home. After a search of the residence, no individuals were found inside. It was discovered during the investigation, the home owner Britney Gard (white female, age 46), was not located at the residence. All attempts to contact Britney Gard have been unsuccessful. Britney Gard has been entered with other agencies as a missing endangered person by the Putnam County Sheriff Office due to her unknown whereabouts.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is requested to notify our 911 dispatch at 765-653-5115, extension zero.
