Callahan County 4-H achieved remarkable success at the State Outdoor Challenge in Richmond. We had the second-largest group participating with 10 kids competing. Our participants demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication across all three divisions. They competed in 10 events that included kayaking, fishing, archery, air rifle, outdoor first aid, outdoor safety, gear judging, outdoor skills, mountain biking, and biology skills. The weather was very challenging this weekend. The Seniors remained competitive throughout the contest, while the juniors achieved outstanding results with all three placing in the top ten. Intermediates showed remarkable competitiveness in a highly challenging division, with the outcome decided by the final event. We take great pride in our kids. We are Callahan County 4-H. We are grateful for the support of our parents and grandparents, who supported our and made sure that they got to there events everyday. I will provide a comprehensive report on the placings achieved by Callahan County 4-H tomorrow!!!
