This Nurses Week, we are proud to celebrate Debra Armstrong, LPN, who has been with Meadowbrook Place since September 2021. Debra has a gift for noticing the small changes that matter most, often catching shifts in a resident's health before they become serious. She joined our team during the height of COVID and has since become a trusted, warm, and steady presence for residents, families, and coworkers alike. Her care has earned the kind of trust money cannot buy: Debra moved her own mother into our community, the most powerful endorsement any medical professional could give. This Nurses Week, we celebrate Justin Murphy, RN, who joined the Meadowbrook Place team in October 2024. Justin's RN background and home health experience are a perfect match for our community, but it is his presence that truly sets him apart. No matter how chaotic the day, he stays calm, self-assured, and steady, helping residents, families, and staff feel grounded. Justin and his wife are also navigating their own parents' aging journeys from afar, and that personal experience has deepened his empathy for the families we serve. Meadowbrook feels blessed to have such an intelligent, compassionate, and grounded RN on our team.

This week at Meadowbrook Place Assisted Living, we pause to celebrate and honor the incredible nurses who are at the heart of everything we do, and this year's theme says it all: The Power of Nurses™.

That power shows up every single day in the dedication, compassion, and expertise our nurses bring to work, often in the most demanding and high-stakes moments imaginable. Their commitment to caring for others is nothing short of remarkable.

To our nurses: thank you! Thank you for the early mornings and late nights. Thank you for the steady hands, the calm voices, and the warm presence you bring to residents and families when they need it most. Thank you for going above and beyond, time and time again, without hesitation.
