🎉 Congratulations to Our 2026 EMR Graduates! 🎉

After 8 weeks of hard work, dedication, and determination, we’re excited to celebrate four amazing future EMRs 🚑👏

These students showed up week after week—even on some of the hottest summer days—ready to learn, practice skills, study, and take on every challenge. Their commitment and perseverance have truly paid off.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to the crew at Fallon County EMS for stepping in to help teach, mentor, and share their knowledge throughout the course. It truly takes a team, and I appreciate every one of you who helped make this class a success.

On August 1st, we were honored to host a small graduation celebration to recognize all of their hard work.

From all of us at Fallon County EMS, we wish our graduates the very best as they prepare for their National Registry exam. We know you’ll do great, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes you!

🎉 We Need Your Help, Baker Community! 🚑

Parade season is coming, and Fallon County Ambulance Service wants to hand out giveaways that people will actually use and enjoy—not things that end up in the trash.

So we’re asking YOU!

💭 What are some of your favorite items you’ve received at parades, community events, or fairs?
What do you actually keep and use?

Even on a hot, hot Saturday, our EMR students showed up ready to learn! ☀️🚑

Today was all about hands-on skills as we worked through trauma scenarios, medical emergencies, OB & babies..and everything in between. These students continue to challenge themselves, build confidence, and sharpen the skills they’ll need to help others when it matters most.

A huge thank you to everyone who came and played patient & to our students for their dedication and hard work—even in the summer heat! We couldn’t be more proud of the effort and teamwork you continue to demonstrate.

🔥 Help Us Keep Our Firefighters Safe Today 🔥

As the heat continues to rise and our firefighters work tirelessly to protect our communities, we ask everyone to do their part to help keep them safe.

These men and women are spending long hours in extreme temperatures, carrying heavy equipment, and putting themselves in harm’s way to protect lives, homes, livestock, and our beautiful Montana landscape.

From all of us at Fallon County Ambulance Service, we ask you to:
• Slow down and move over for emergency vehicles.
• Stay away from active fire scenes unless you are assigned to be there.
• Follow all road closures and directions from emergency personnel.
• Avoid activities that could accidentally start another fire.
• Keep our firefighters, first responders, and their families in your thoughts.

Our ambulance crews are proud to stand beside our fire partners, providing medical care and support whenever they are needed. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication, courage, and selflessness of every firefighter working in these difficult conditions.

Thank you for all that you do. Stay hydrated, stay safe, and most importantly—make it home.

🚨 OFFICIAL “DON’T MAKE US COME GET YOU” HEAT PSA 🚨

Mother Nature has cranked Montana up to “surface of the sun” and apparently woke up this morning choosing violence to inflict on us this weekend.

It’s supposed to be over 100° this weekend.

That means:

* Drink water like you owe it money.
* Toss in some electrolytes every now and then.
* Wear sunscreen unless you’ve always wanted to resemble a gas station hot dog.
* Stay in the shade when you can.
* Check on your grandparents, neighbors, and that one buddy who’s convinced “I’ll be fine.”

Now listen closely…

🍺 Beer is not water.
☕ Coffee is not water.
🥤 Mountain Dew is definitely not water.
🥃 Whiskey is absolutely not water.
❄️ An ice-cold Busch Light is refreshing… but it’s still not hydration.

If your weekend plans include roofing a house, picking up and stacking hay, rebuilding a fence, mowing five acres, detailing the pickup, washing the horse trailer, and grilling for 40 people—all between noon and 4 p.m.—you may be suffering from heat-induced poor decision making before you’ve even started.

And no, saying “I’m built different” does not make you immune to heat exhaustion. The sun doesn’t care how tough you are, what you bench, how many cows you’ve worked, or how long you’ve lived in Montana. It’ll humble you faster than a toddler with your phone.

🚑 Your local EMS crews have a humble request:
Please don’t become this weekend’s “Hold my beer and watch this” heat stroke statistic patient.

Hydrate before you’re thirsty.
Replace those electrolytes.
Take breaks.
Keep the kiddos and critters cool.
Never leave kids or pets in a vehicle.
And if you stop sweating, get dizzy, start acting confused, or think you’re winning an argument with the sun… it’s time to cool off and get help.

Our goal is simple:
Let’s all survive the weekend with the same number of family members, pets, and functioning brain cells we started with.

Stay safe, stay cool, and for the love of all that’s holy… drink some dang water. ☀️🥵💧🇺🇸🚑

At Fallon County EMS, we are incredibly blessed to have the support of such a generous community. Through your donations to our EMS donation fund, you help us continue to provide education, training, and opportunities that strengthen our crew and our community.

Recently, your donations were used to provide a meal for our EMR class and crew during a CPR training night. It may seem like something simple, but sharing a meal together during training creates connection, teamwork, and encouragement as we continue to learn and grow.
