Help our friends to the north get some assistance!!

Why is Tanker 95 not in the air helping the fire line? I will tell you! The State of Kansas Forestry Service hasn’t placed Bill Garrison under contract this year like in past years! The planes (that’s right 2 of them) are in a hanger with the smoke in the air! Kansas we are better than this, protect our fire fighters on the ground with every resource available!

🔥✋ Look… we get it. We sound like a broken record. At this point even we’re tired of hearing us say it.

But Mother Nature has the thermostat stuck on “air fryer,” the humidity is somewhere below “sponge that’s been in the desert for 40 years,” and the wind is out here auditioning for a leaf‑blowing competition. Please keep the sparks contained (or non-existent). Let’s give the fire trucks a well‑earned break and keep the grass where it belongs — on the ground, not airborne like confetti. ✋🔥

Convoy of Hope is heading to Trinity Faith Church in Liberal, Kansas today, (2/19). The goal is to help load peoples' trucks and trailers, full of supplies for those affected by the recent wildfires. They will start today at 10 AM doing just that. The church can be found at 2264 S. Kansas Avenue in Liberal.
