What a truly incredible evening.
It was an honor to be invited as the speaker for the Fall 2025 Best Yard in Baker Celebration. Thank you Dr. Toni Jackson and former Councilwoman Ms. Brenda G. Jackson for thinking of me and for the amazing work you continue to pour into our community. Your dedication and vision are what make events like this possible.

Congratulations to all of the district winners and to the overall Fall 2025 Best Yard in Baker Champion. Your pride in your homes and our city shines through every blade of grass and every flower planted. Baker is better because of neighbors like you.

I am grateful to have been part of this celebration, and I look forward to continuing to serve, support, and uplift our community in every way I can.

Get ready for the inaugural “Best Yard in Baker” Competition — a seasonal showdown proudly presented by Dr. Toni and powered by Future Seed LLC. This fall, we’re inviting Baker residents to compete for the title of Best Yard in Baker under the theme: “Fall in Love with Your Yard”. 🧡💛🤎💚

🏆 How the Competition Works:

🔸 Five District Champions will be selected by a panel of mystery judges — one winner from each district.
📅 District Winners Announced: November 1
🔸 Then it’s up to YOU, Baker! The community will vote and help the judges decide who takes home the title of Ultimate Best Yard in Baker.
🎉 Grand Winner Revealed: At our Mid-November Community Celebration!
📅 Entry Deadline: September 30

Proud to have sponsored and supported the Hurricane Preparedness Community Event alongside State Representative Barbara Carpenter, hosted by the incredible nonprofit, A Bella LaFemme Society, out of New Orleans. They're doing real, impactful work to keep our communities informed, equipped, and safe. 💼📦🕯️

From creating emergency toolkits to sharing evacuation game plans, this event was all about real resources for real people!

Big love to all the community partners, local leaders, and organizations that helped make this timely event a success. It takes a village and I’m proud to be part of the collective answering the call.
