Applications are now open for the Fall cohort of Veterans CareerBridge!

If you are a veteran, transitioning service member, military spouse, or eligible dependent in Bakersfield or Kern County who is working toward your next career step, Veterans CareerBridge provides a structured place to prepare.

The program includes virtual career readiness training, interview preparation, professional development, employer connections, and access to approved industry recognized certification opportunities at no cost to eligible participants.

Fall cohort schedule:

Career Readiness Training
September 16 through September 25
Monday through Thursday
5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Virtual

Certification Training and Employer Preparation
September 28 through October 9
Flexible schedule

Veterans CareerBridge is designed to help participants strengthen their career materials, prepare for civilian employment, explore training options, and connect with employers when opportunities align.

Certification completion does not guarantee an internship or employment placement. Employer opportunities depend on availability, qualifications, alignment, and hiring decisions.
