Good Morning.
I'm going to give you an update on Cashy. I'm heartbroken as I type this. I am appalled at the greed of a place that is supposed to help the sickest animals.
Ray and I are currently on the road to retrieve Cash from the VCA. I will only say that the health and life of our dog is not their priority, Money is. We expected an update on our baby this morning. We were called as promised first thing in the morning. Given no information on Cashy's condition, instead asked for $4,000 so they could move forward. (Mind you these as****es knew we gave them EVERY penny we had yesterday.) They wouldn't even discuss test results with us. We called our regular vet they preformed tests on him yesterday as well. Cash's Liver isn't working correctly. His bilirubin is elevated and his liver enzymes count is more then 5x higher then it should be. He has been on IV fluids and phenobarbital to control his seizures. He is still a very sick boy, but we do not have the answers we need to properly treat him. The emergency hospital wants the money upfront to do the MRI and Spinal tap. ($4000 more). We have no choice but to bring him to our regular vet. They are amazing, but do not have the machines to preform these tests. They are going to try to help him with what they are capable of. This is also not going to be cheap. I'm devastated. I am so thankful for those who have already donated. Please continue to share our campaign in hopes that we can raise enough to get Cash well again. And home with his Momma & Daddy.
