We have been very lucky at BVFD with increasing our memberships. Kate and Trevor are our newest members.

Trevor has dreamed of becoming a firefighter since he was very young. He doesn't say much, but his smile and eagerness is contagious. He is always willing to help wherever he can.

Kate comes to us with an extensive medical background with a lot of knowledge to share with BVFD. She is eager to get certified for our First Response team but in the meantime Kate is always lending a hand.

Given current conditions and forecasted conditions the next couple days, there is a NO Burning ordinance in effect until further notice. No permits will be issued at this time. Please respect this decision and refrain from burning until further notice. Thank you

Yesterday and today Captain Andrew Nicholls and Asst. Chief Ginger Parent have been in Burlington with firefighters from five states networking and learning from different experiences.
