We were honored to present a donation check in the amount of $4,201.03 to Bakersfield ARC through our Round Up Campaign 💙

This check presentation celebrates our community’s support through the Round Up Campaign and the positive impact these donations have on local nonprofit organizations right here in Kern County.

This week, Bakersfield ARC was at the State Capitol in Sacramento advocating on behalf of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our focus was clear: safeguarding funding for essential services that help individuals achieve greater independence, opportunity, and success in their everyday lives.
Advocacy matters because these services are life-changing — supporting employment, community engagement, skill-building, and pathways toward more independent living. We were proud to stand alongside so many passionate advocates, providers, families, and community leaders who continue fighting for a stronger future for the IDD community.
It was also wonderful to reconnect with so many familiar faces throughout the week. Thank you to everyone who continues to use their voice to support inclusion, dignity, and opportunity for all. 💙
