The Bakersfield Police Officers Association sends our condolences to everyone at the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Deputy Peery’s family, friends, El Paso County SO, and to all of his Bakersfield Police Department brothers and sisters that knew him during his time with BPD.

It is with a heavy heart that we share Deputy Andrew Peery has been killed in the line of duty.

The procession for our fallen Deputy Sheriff will start at 8:30 pm from Memorial Central Hospital. It will proceed to Nevada and go in front of the Sheriff's Office on Vermijo. From there it will go to I-25 to the Coroner’s Office. Please line the streets with your flags for the family.

Kern County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Phillip Campas was tragically killed in the line of duty in an attempt to suppress an active-shooter that had executed family members and was holding additional family hostage.

Today members from BPOA played in the 22nd Annual William K. Lazzerini "Senior" Challenge at Seven Oaks Country Club benefiting Bakersfield Pal. Advance Beverage put on a great tournament as always, and everyone had a wonderful time being out their together.
