Happy National Beach Day!
There’s no better place to celebrate than the beautiful beaches of Bal Harbour—where soft white sand, sparkling waters and breathtaking ocean views make every visit special. Whether you’re taking a morning stroll, enjoying the Beach Path or simply listening to the waves, the beach is one of our community’s most treasured places.
As you enjoy the shoreline, help us keep it beautiful for everyone. Please take your belongings and any litter with you when you leave, and help protect the natural beauty that makes our beach so special.
A beautiful beach is something we all share—and something we can all help preserve.

Like many coastal communities across South Florida, Bal Harbour is experiencing an unusually active sargassum season.
While Miami-Dade County leads beach maintenance, Bal Harbour Village is investing in additional daily cleanup services and working closely with the County and our contractors to help keep our beach as clean as possible.
Because sargassum is a naturally occurring part of the marine ecosystem, cleanup must be conducted in accordance with environmental regulations. New sargassum can also wash ashore throughout the day due to tides, currents, and weather conditions.
Our teams continue to monitor conditions daily and remain committed to protecting both the beauty of our beach and the coastal environment.
