🚨 PRIDE Platoon Applications Are Now Open! 🚨

The PRIDE Platoon Program is now accepting applications for High School students in grades 9th–12th. Incoming freshmen welcome!

The PRIDE Platoon program is presented by BPPD members along with guest speakers and is aimed at helping alter juveniles’ negative behavior by offering treatment, prevention, mentoring, leadership/life skills, and other disciplinary components.

📅 Program Session: July 11, 2026 – September 12, 2026 Every Saturday

📋 Applications available now!
Please stop by the front lobby from 8am–5pm.

📝 Last day to submit applications:
Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 6pm
NO exceptions!

✅ Orientation / Intake: Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 6pm., Council Chambers -14403 E. Pacific Ave., Baldwin Park *Parents and Students must attend the orientation.

Applications are now available for the BPPD PRIDE Platoon Program for students entering grades 9-12 — incoming freshmen welcome!

The program focuses on mentoring, leadership, life skills, and positive youth development.

Today, members of our Honor Guard proudly participated in the Stand Watch for the Fallen at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

Honor Guards from across the nation stand watch in 10-minute intervals to honor and remember the brave law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We are humbled to take part in this meaningful tradition as we continue to honor the memory of our fallen officers, including Officer Samuel Riveros.
