Training can happen anywhere, even the playground. 🚑🛝

Our explorers headed to Dutch Heritage Park to practice pediatric trauma scenarios using backboards, traction splints, SAM splints, triangle bandages, and c-collars.

A huge thank you to our explorer leaders and their kids for helping us create realistic hands-on scenarios!

Up the stairs, down the stairs, and teamwork all the way!🚑🔥

Our explorers traveled to United Fire Woodville Station to practice patient movement, C-spine stabilization, and using tools like the stairchair, mega mover, and backboard.

We wrapped things up with IV practice, giving everyone even more real-world skills to build confidence.

Hands-on training like this is what the explorer program is all about!

Curious about EMS? So were they 🚑

We had a great time hosting Lone Pine 4-H two weeks ago and showing what the Explorer program is all about.

With 50+ attendees, participants practiced CPR, backboarding, patient movement, and toured the station and ambulance.

Huge thanks to our five Explorers who helped lead the day (in the tan polos), and thank you to Lone Pine 4-H for joining us!
