Yesterday, the Baldwin Police Department had the opportunity to thank the Greenfield Elementary Safety Patrol for their hard work and dedication throughout the school year.
Their commitment to helping students, assisting at crossings, and promoting safety each day plays an important role in making our school and community a safer place.
To show our appreciation, our officers hosted a pizza party to celebrate and thank the students for their outstanding efforts throughout the year.
We would also like to thank the Baldwin-Woodville Area School District and the Greenfield Elementary staff for helping put this together and for their continued partnership and support.
We are proud of these students and grateful for everything they do to help make our schools a safer place for everyone.

Today we remember Deputy Kaitie Leising, who made the ultimate sacrifice three years ago in service to her community.

Deputy Leisingโ€™s courage, compassion, and dedication to protecting others will never be forgotten. She served with honor and gave everything in the line of duty.

Our thoughts remain with her family, friends, and all who had the privilege to serve alongside her.

Gone, but never forgotten. End of Watch: May 6, 2023 ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ–ค

๐Ÿšจ Public Safety Alert: โ€œAssassinsโ€ Game ๐Ÿšจ

The Baldwin Police Department is warning students and parents about the risks of the โ€œAssassinsโ€ game, where participants use toy guns to target others.

While meant to be a game, realistic-looking toy guns and suspicious behavior can cause public alarm and lead to serious law enforcement responses, including high-risk stops.

โš ๏ธ Reminder:
โ€ข Carrying items that resemble fi****ms or trespassing will lead to police contact.
โ€ข Toy/imitation weapons are not allowed on school property and discouraged from use
โ€ข Injuries or damage may result in financial liability

This โ€œgameโ€ can create real danger. Please make safe choices and report suspicious or unsafe activity.

Thank you for helping keep Baldwin safe ๐Ÿš“
