To celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month, SAIL hosted its annual Friends and Family Spring Fling.

Clients of SAIL invited their loved ones to join them for a day filled with delicious food, great conversation, and meaningful connections. The highlight of the event was the opportunity to showcase the incredible talent within our community.

It was a wonderful day of celebration, support, and togetherness, highlighting the importance of mental health and the strength of the relationships that help us thrive.

🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈

At SAIL, we believe that every person deserves to be seen, valued, respected, and supported for who they are.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community while reaffirming our commitment to fostering inclusion, dignity, and belonging for all.

Together, we build stronger communities when we embrace diversity, listen to one another, and create spaces where everyone can thrive.

Happy Pride Month from all of us at SAIL.

This Memorial Day we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. We extend our deepest gratitude to those who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy each day.

May we always remember their legacy and honor their sacrifice.

Mental health matters, this month and every month. 💚

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to remind ourselves and others that it’s okay to not be okay. Let’s work together to break the stigma, support one another, and prioritize our well-being.

Take a moment today to check in, with yourself and with someone you care about. A small act of kindness or a simple conversation can make a big difference.

You are not alone. You matter.

Our team recently participated in impactful leadership training led by Alonzo Cook Sr.

This experience reminded us that leadership isn’t about titles, it’s about action, mindset, and the ability to inspire and support others every day. We’re proud of the strong leaders across our agency who create positive, collaborative environments and stay committed to our mission.

Grateful for the growth and excited to keep building together!

SAIL staff recently attended a nonprofit leadership conference, an inspiring experience focused on learning, connection, and growth within the non-profit sector.

Staff gained valuable tools to strengthen collaboration and better serve our community. Hearing from keynote speakers John Cronin of John's Crazy Socks and Marty Lyons of the NY Jets was a powerful reminder of the passion and purpose of non-profit organizations.

Thank you to Adelphi University for a wonderful day and ability to connect!

Last week, SAIL joined and organizations from across New York State to meet with NYS legislators and advocate for the funding needs of mental health housing programs.

These conversations are critical to highlight the vital work being done every day and the impact these programs have on the communities we serve. Increased funding will help ensure better care, stronger support systems, and improved resources, not only for the individuals who rely on these services, but for the dedicated staff who support them as well.

We’re proud to stand alongside partners across the state to continue advocating for meaningful investment in mental health housing.

This National Social Work Month, we proudly recognize the dedication, compassion, and resilience of social workers in our communities and across the country.

Social workers are advocates, problem-solvers, counselors, and champions for those who need support most. They walk alongside individuals and families during some of life’s most challenging moments, offering guidance, resources, and hope. Their work strengthens families, empowers individuals, and builds healthier, more connected communities.

Today and throughout the month, we thank social workers for their unwavering commitment to service, dignity, and positive change. Your impact is felt far beyond what can be measured.

Together, we move forward because of you. 💙
