Trustee Nate Collins and Deputy Mayor Megan O'Donnell were out to support Baldwinsville Little League as they hosted the NYS U10 Championship this weekend. The partnership between the Village of Baldwinsville and B'ville Little League has produced a great ballpark facility capable of hosting these statewide events.

For our next reveal, we’re honored to introduce our second celebrity judge, Ruth Cico!

Ruth has been in service for our community not only as Trustee for 12 years on the village board, she is the Village Representative for Canton Woods Senior Center’s board, and the Public Safety Committee.

Ruth’s time volunteering and investing her time in our community continues through her work as the chair and organizer of the Annual Tree Lighting / Parade of Lights that we all know and love and sits on the Memorial Day Parade Committee.

We’re very thankful to have Ruth joining Rene’ as a judge for this event!

*please note we did originally share we were having three judges and unfortunately our third judge is recouping from a procedure. We’re sending him well wishes to feel better soon and we are grateful for our two wonderful judges. Watch for Ruth and Rene’ as they’ll be going out tomorrow evening to see the beautiful entries!

Thanks for always thinking about new ideas for our Village.

Along with Chief Lockwood, recently met with a group of citizens to explore how Neighborhood Watch works and if appropriate for Baldwinsville.

Glad all of our candidates took the opportunity to participate in Baldwinsville's Memorial Day Parade. Our Mayor Bruce Stebbins and current Trustees Nate Collins and Ruth Cico were representing the Village and Trustee candidate Kevin Baker rode with his wife in the Plainville Christian Church float. Mayor Stebbins also participated in the ceremony at Riverview Cemetery, welcoming the attendees and laying a wreath under the flag to recognize the fallen.
And thank you to Trustee Cico for serving on the parade committee.

We're excited to announce our slate of candidates for the upcoming Village elections this November. Bruce Stebbins is running for re-election as Mayor. Ruth Cico and Nate Collins are looking forward to being re-elected to the Board of Trustees and Kevin Baker is excited to be running for a seat on the Board for the first time, after serving in several capacities on other Village boards. Stay tuned for more information on our candidates. We'll be out in April gathering signatures for our petition.
