Major Brumley award the highest preforming NCO in each section of the BN: Headquarters, Senior Facilitators, and Facilitators. These NCOs accomplished the mission and exceeded the standard. Last week 199th Regiment Regional Training Institute conducted the Regimental Best Warrior Competition for FY 26 at Camp Cook and Camp Beauregard. The competition included the Army Fitness Test, written essay, warrior tasks and battle drills, land navigation, weapons familiarization, engagement skills trainer 2000, 12-mile ruck march and an appearance before a board of senior NCO’s.
Staff Sgt. Trammell competed on the behalf of 1st BN NCOA and Staff Sgt. Mendoza competed on behalf of 2nd BN 199th MTB.
Staff Sgt. Trammell, placed first and awarded the Army Achievement Medal by Col James, 199TH RTI Commander. Staff Sgt. Mendoza came in second place was awarded Certificate of Achievement for competing. The will both compete in the State Best Warrior Competition
