Veterans are encouraged to file your official military discharge papers (DD-214) in the Saratoga County Clerk's Office at 40 McMaster St. You keep the original, but you and your immediate family members will be able access this sealed document at any time to get a free certified copy. You or your family members may need your DD-214 to access certain veterans benefits in the future.

After filing your DD-214, you can get a F.A.V.O.R. card that provides discounts at lots of area businesses.

We often get folks mistakenly stopping in our office for a Certificate of Residency. Unfortunately, it's the right building, but wrong office. Here are all the details about getting what you need from the Treasurer's Office.

If you need a copy of your home's deed, you can obtain it by printing it from our online records or by coming into our office and printing it from the system for 50 cents per page. We also can provide certified copies!
