There's just three weeks left before The 26th Annual Great Pumpkin Challenge 5K, 10K and Kids Fun Run! 🏃🏃‍♀️

Gather your friends and family, assemble your team, and enjoy a beautiful day at Saratoga Spa State Park in support of Saratoga Bridges and our programs and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Saratoga County. 💖

Only the first 1,200 5K and 10K registrants get a 26th Annual race shirt, but every will enjoy free post-race treats and snacks and a free beer from Druthers Brewing Company in Downtown Saratoga Springs with their bib after the race! 🍻

There will also be a costume contest, one for adults and one for children, voting in the pumpkin decorating contest, and a Kids Fun Run for children 12 years of age and younger. This is a great way to support a local cause while enjoying a family day out! 🎃

On Saturday, August 22nd, the Ruggles residence had the great pleasure of hosting a picnic with the Washington, Loughberry, Juniper, and Middle Grove residences. 🍔

They enjoyed a wonderful day full of music from Watch Reggie Run, painting, co****le, softball, tabletop games, delicious food, and even better company. 🎶

The weather was perfect for some end of summer fun, and it was a great way to welcome everyone to the Ruggles residence. 🏠

We can't wait to see many more opportunities like this in the future, bringing residences and people together outside of their normal routines and making memories together.

A big thank you to our staff, Tyler, who secured donations, live music, and grilled food for everyone, and to our staff Bridgette, Destiny, and Alicia for keeping things running smoothly. 🏆

Thank you as well to all the staff and families involved in the picnic; it lifts our hearts to see everyone coming together and enjoying a lovely day together! 🥰

Last week, people from the Finley residence took a trip down to Troy to watch the Tri City Valley Cats in action! ⚾

Everyone had a great time watching the game, and they cheered as the Valley Cats won 7-6 over Down East. 🙌

Our 26th Annual Great Pumpkin Challenge 5K, 10K and Kids Fun Run is almost three weeks away, so lace up your running shoes and register today! This family-friendly event takes place on Saturday, September 26th, at the Saratoga Spa State Park.

Registration is $30 per 5K and 10K participant now through September 14th. Between September 15th and 22nd, registration will be $35 pre 5K and 10K participant. We will also have in-person registration on Friday, September 25th. Kids Fun Run registration is $10 per child.

On Sunday, Steven and Robert went to the Willie Nelson & Friends Festival at S**C. 🎸

They wore their Willie Nelson t-shirts and had a great time listening to music and relaxing in the crowd. Robert even had some cotton candy and took a cheeseburger and fries to go for post-concert snacking. Steven had a blast jamming with his Kool-Aid spoon to the music. 🎶

At the concert, they also saw some people from another residence, and they had a great time bonding over music together.

A big thank you to our staff Ryan, Tyler, and Ashley for planning this memorable night on the S**C lawn; everyone had such a wonderful time! 🥰

Two weeks ago, Julie, Teresa, and Jasmine took a trip down to the Altamont Fair where they saw a circus show, went on some rides, and took pictures with farm-inspired cutouts. 🚜🎪

It was a beautiful day, and many memories were made. A big thank you to our incredible staff who make these days in the community possible! 🥰
