The Bally Community Ambulance Association is an Advanced Life Support (ALS) emergency medical service that has been in operation since 1951. Bally Ambulance, designated as Company 505, operates out of one station which houses two ambulances. We provide primary emergency medical coverage for Bally and Bechtelsville Boroughs, Washington, Hereford, District Townships, and large portions of Pike Towns
hip and Douglass and Upper Hanover Township in Montgomery County. In addition, we provide immediate mutual aid to Gilbertsville Ambulance, Boyertown Ambulance, Upper Perk Ambulance, and Topton Ambulance. Bally Ambulance is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by an EMT and a Paramedic at minimum. We also provide extra crews when needed for special events in the community, or when we are busy. In addition to the paid personnel we also have volunteers that help staff the trucks for special events and stand bys, we offer opportunities for ride-alongs for EMT and Paramedic students, and any persons interested in a career in EMS.
