County road H bridge over the Apple River (North of Highway 8 ) will be closing this week for replacement. The estimated completion date is 11/2/2026. It is not clear if the bridge will open prior to the completion date. The designated detour is using County E, G, and Highway 8. If you have questions, please contact our office and we can direct your concern to the appropriate party.

Reminder- County Road M will be closed over Horse Creek and will be detouring starting today 6/22/26 for culvert work. This location is north of the Horse Creek Store.

Next Monday- 6/22/26 Polk County Highway will be starting a culvert replacement on County Road M north of Horse Creek and south of County Road K. This will take approximately 4 days with good weather and no setbacks. During this time, a detour will happen. Northbound traffic should take County Road X to Hwy 35 to Osceola. Southbound traffic should take County Road K to Hwy 65 to Star Prairie.
