☀️ SUMMER SCHEDULE UPDATES ☀️

Summer is practically here, and we have a few important changes to our regular schedule to keep on your radar!

Please note that starting in June, the Chess Club and our Wednesday D&D sessions are taking a break for the summer season and will not be meeting.

However, our Friday gaming crew isn't going anywhere—it's just leveling up! Our Friday D&D group is transforming into Summer Adventures. Along with the new name, we are shifting to a brand-new kickoff time. Starting in June, grab your dice and join us on the 2nd & 4th Fridays at 2:00 PM sharp for an afternoon of epic quests.

SUMMER SCHEDULE (June – August)

Starting in June, we are switching to our Summer Schedule! Storytime will move to the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month.

Get ready for a summer of discovery because the 2026 Explore MORE Passport Program officially kicks off on June 1! 🧭🦀Your next great adventure is waiting right around the corner at your local library.

📙 To get started, visit any MORE-member library to pick up your official passport. From there, the journey is up to you—travel to different libraries, collect unique stickers at every stop, and enter for your chance to win some fantastic prizes. Who knows what hidden treasures you’ll find on the shelves or in a town you’ve never visited before!

Wildwood Labs: Ranger Games
🌳 It’s time to use everything we’ve learned! Join us @ Pine Park (weather permitting) on Thursday, May 21st, at 4:30 PM, for an afternoon of outdoor challenges where we’ll put our skills to work.

Recommended for kids ages 8 & up

Whacky science experiments, wilderness survival, cooking, sewing, woodworking, storytelling—you never know what incredible new skills you’ll gain at the Wildwood Laboratory, with Balsam Lake Library’s resident Mad Scientist, Sam! The Wildwood Laboratory is a perfect after-school program for hands-on learners and a great addition to any homeschool curriculum.
