“I invest in RTB because their work stabilizes neighborhoods in Baltimore. When a neighbor owns their home, they feel the pride of ownership, and that pride translates into caring for their property."

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking stock of a year filled with both progress and pressing challenges. There’s a lot to celebrate. But the reality remains: too many older adults in Baltimore are still living in unsafe or unstable housing. Our waiting list continues to grow with longtime homeowners who need help to stay warm, safe, dry, and healthy at home.

Ever wonder what we mean when we say we “repaired one home”? Our impact goes deep. In 2025, we served 117 homes with 1,535 unique repairs, a record for us. View our 2025 Year In Review landing page www.rtbaltimore.org/yearinreview2025 for more information on our impact this year.

WMAR recently produced a story on the BCAUSE program featuring our Executive Director Bonnie Bessor, Baltimore County Department of Aging Director Heang Tan, and Mr. & Mrs. Buchanan, who have been together for 64 years.
