Ann Arrundell County Historical Society

Ann Arrundell County Historical Society The society was founded in 1962, adopting the name and 17th century spelling of the wife of Cecil Calvert, the second Lord Baltimore. Lady Ann (1615-1649).

In 1650, the County was named for Lady Baltimore, at the request of her husband, Cecil Calvert.

The one for the Benson-Hammond House is on the fence. We will display the other for the Kuethe Library at our upcoming events and then it will go to them.
