Baltimore City Crime Gun Intelligence The Baltimore Police Department is dedicated to upholding the Constitution and enforcing laws in a fair, impartial, and ethical manner.

The Crime Gun Intelligence Center is an interagency collaboration to collect, analyze and distribute intelligence data about crime guns and their associated crimes The Crime Gun Intelligence Center, or CGIC, is a Grant program in Baltimore City Maryland that strives to better utilize NIBIN leads in order to reduce overall gun crime. We will do this by improving data collection, data driven strateg

ies, and collaboration between federal, state, and local agencies. We will be using this page to share important information about shooting events such as Homicides, Non-Fatal Shootings, Dischargings, and ShotSpotter Alerts specifically in the Western District. We will provide updates about shooting events that may be of interest to the community and resources such as Metro Crime Stoppers and community engagement resources from Baltimore City Police Department, the Mayor’s office, the States attorney office, and The Bureau of Alcohol, To***co, Fi****ms, and Explosives (BATFE or ATF in short). ATF will be the main investigative partner with the. Baltimore City Police Department for the CGIC program. We will also have support from the Mayor’s Office Criminal Justice department, States Attorney Office, United States Attorney Office, and any internal departments that could assist.
