Tomorrow is the final Public Hearing for the renewal of Southwest Baltimore Charter school.
There will be a watch party at SBCS in the auditorium from 5-7:30 pm. We want to PACK the auditorium with SBCS support— bring your posters, your speeches, and get ready to ask City Schools not to close Southwest Baltimore Charter!

Sign ups open 2 hours before the start of the meeting. To sign up by email, please email Leatrice Jones ([email protected]) between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. on Thursday
Comments will only be received during that timeframe. Emails must include your name, address, email address, telephone number (if applicable), school/civic/community affiliation, and topic for comment.
Schedule your email sign-ups ahead of time to send starting at 3:30 on Thursday. Make sure you also fill out the Community Board Meeting Agreement ahead of time as well (this can be done before Thursday). If you need assistance with submitting your sign-up during that 2 hour window, we will have SBCS volunteers and staff ready on Thursday to help you in the lobby. You can also speak/email with me or Lenise White ([email protected]) for direct assistance. Signing up may take longer than expected, due to the number of people that submit sign ups at the same time. So please do not wait until the last minute.
