2. Do not reveal camp or FOB locations for future movements or deployments, including nearby cities. After the deployment is officially announced by Military officials, you may discuss locations that have been released, normally on the major city, province or Country level (I,e Baghdad or Kabul are large enough places to name).

3. Do not discuss movement routes or travel dates

4. Detailed information on future missions or operations

5. Personnel transactions that occur in large numbers (Example: pay information, powers of attorney, wills, etc)

6 Details concerning security procedures, response times, tactics

7. Don’t discuss equipment or lack thereof, to include training equipment

8. Don’t speculate about future operations

9. If posting pictures, don’t post anything that could be misconstrued or used for propaganda purposes. A good rule of thumb is to look at your picture without your caption or explanation and consider if it could be re-captioned to reflect poorly on coalition forces.

10. Turn off geo-tagging on cameras/phones

11. Do not, ever, post information about casualties (coalition or enemy) before the official release of the information.

12. Do not pass on rumors (“I heard they’re coming home early”, etc)

Fantastic news! Please join us in congratulating Brig. Gen. Christine Beeler on her selection as the next commanding general of the U.S. Army Contracting Command and part of Team Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. ACC, a two-star command, is responsible for delivering decisive contracting solutions across the full spectrum of conflict as part of the joint force, anytime, anywhere. U.S. Army officials also announced Brig. Gen. Douglas Lowrey, currently serving as the commanding general of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command at Redstone Arsenal, as the next commanding general of the MICC. For those of you who have been with the MICC a while, Lowrey is no stranger to the command. Congratulations!
