Protected bike lanes improve safety and encourage new riders. So why is Baltimore City ripping them out?

We're pleased that Baltimore County is moving forward on its fair housing commitments. However, we are dismayed to hear so many of the County Executive candidates state that they will potentially risk millions of dollars in legal fees and the loss of HUD funding fighting the agreement. We also note that Windsor Mill and Dundalk are not exactly the most prosperous areas of Baltimore County. CPHA looks forward to the construction of affordable housing in more affluent neighborhoods in the County.

In suburban Baltimore County, the issue of making affordable housing available to more families looms large, as tougher requirements from the federal government are about to kick in and the county prepares for new political leadership.
