Pfc. Floyd K. Lindstrom earned the Medal of Honor after charging a German machine-gun nest with only his pistol and turning back an enemy counterattack near Mignano, Italy. Today, the VA Clinic in Colorado Springs, Colorado, honors his legacy of valor.
