On behalf of The Mount Washington School (Baltimore City Public School #221) and our Parent Teacher Organization (MWS-PTO), we invite you to share in supporting our signature fundraising event:
Taste of Mount Washington: A Night Under the Stars
Friday, May 5th, 2023 - 7-11pm
Vollmer Center at Cylburn Arboretum
The MWS-PTO is hopeful and excited for this year's event; we anticipate that we will not only raise much needed funds for our scholars and teachers, but that it will help rebuild our sense of community that we lost during COVID.
We are in need of SPONSORS, VENDORS, and AUCTION ITEM donations to make our event a success!
SPONSORS:
Our Sponsors are recognized at the event through MC remarks, signage and promotion, Ad Space in our program guide, as well as Tickets to attend this fabulous semi-formal event with open bar and a professionally catered spread of savory appetizers.
AUCTION ITEMS and INAUGURAL MAKER'S MARKET:
In addition to Sponsorship, we hope you will also consider Donating an item for our Silent and Live Auctions. This can be gifts/goods, services, experiences, etc.
If you are interested in promoting your business or selling goods at our Maker's Market, your eager customers will be parents/caregivers, teachers, and staff of MWS who will be there to drink, dance, and spend $$ on auction items and at your tables. Vendors pay a Table Fee, but are allowed to keep 100% of their sales profits from the event.
All money raised at this event goes directly to The Mount Washington School!
The MWS-PTO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 52-1201639). MWS is a public city school that educates students from Pre-K through 8th Grade, and is located in the northern section of Baltimore City in a community with a rich history and noted for its politically and culturally active members.
We hope that you and your business are interested in this opportunity and will commit to supporting The Mount Washington School in our biggest fundraiser of the year. Please fill out the appropriate forms and send them back to us at your earliest convenience, on or before April 14, 2023.
