Still celebrating our Young Leaders.
Associated Black Charities’ Fall 2026 Young Leaders Summit was everything we hoped it would be: energetic, culturally grounded, practical, inspiring, and filled with young people who are ready to lead.
Nearly 100 young people ages 16 to 24 registered to spend the day with us at Towson University learning, connecting, building confidence, and sharpening the skills they will carry into classrooms, careers, communities, and leadership spaces.
Throughout the day, participants explored the power of voice and confidence, communicating with impact, mindset development, professionalism, problem solving, time management, interpersonal skills, leadership, vision setting, and the tools it takes to move from potential to action.
We are incredibly grateful to Towson University and the the Dr. Nancy Grasmick Leadersship Institute for joining us as partners!
The feedback from our young people was incredible. They left with new skills, new connections, professional headshots, certificates, bigger visions for themselves, and, we hope, an even stronger understanding that their leadership is needed right now.
This is why we invest in leadership pipelines.
This is why we create spaces where young Black leaders can see themselves, hear themselves, stretch themselves, and know that they belong in every room where decisions are being made.
Young people are not simply the leaders of tomorrow. They are leaders right now.
