Last week, Associated Black Charities was proud to join community members, leaders, advocates, and organizations in commemorating the 63rd anniversary of the March on Washington.
More than six decades later, the call for justice, equity, economic opportunity, and collective action continues.
As we reflected on the legacy of those who marched before us, we were reminded that honoring their work also means continuing it. At ABC, that means advancing racial equity, strengthening Black communities, expanding economic opportunity, and creating pathways for Black Marylanders to thrive.
We were honored to stand alongside our community in celebrating how far we have come while remaining committed to the work still ahead.
The movement continues, and so does the work.
