Councilman Glover Passes Landmark Bill to Prevent Housing Crisis:

“This legislation becoming law means families will be able to stay in their homes without the fear of their landlords evicting them when their lease expires. When I learned that landlords found a loophole in the eviction moratorium and were kicking tenants behind on their rent out of their homes when their leases expired, I stepped up alongside housing advocates to formulate a plan to protect them. As the Council, our job is to create legislation that meets the needs of the moment. Our ‘Just Cause’ legislation — now law — does just that.”
