Northwest District Shooting

On May 24, 2026, at approximately 12:40 a.m., officers responded to reports of discharging in the 3100 block of W. North Avenue. Upon arrival officers located evidence of discharging but found no victims or suspects.

While officers canvassed the area, a shooting victim walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

Officers responded the hospital and located a 36-year-old male victim who had been shot on W. North Avenue.

Northwest District shooting detectives responded and are investigating this incident. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call detectives at 410-396-2466 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LockUp.
