3/29/26 A shift, 2140 hrs. While E30 operated on box alarm 20-50 3100 block of Normount, T8 was dispatched for box alarm 53-10, 1000 block of Kevin Rd. Crews arrived to find fire showing from the charlie side, with extension to the delta exposure,a WFD was immediately requested and eventually a 2nd alarm. Below is an arrival video from T8

3/28/26, C Shift, 2041 hrs, crews from The 30-8 Special operated on an apartment fire in E20's area, in the 2100 block of Garrison Blvd. T18 arrived on scene, requested the remainder of the box, which eventually went to 2 alarms, with multiple medic units and multiple residents needing to be transported.

Another early morning fire, this time for A shift. 3/28/26 at 0513 hrs, box alarm 47-10, 1600 block of Spence st was dispatched for a dwelling fire. E47 arrived to find a 2 story end of group row home with smoke showing from a vacant. Upon receiving a side charlie report that the vacant dwelling was safe to enter, crews found a fire on the first floor, quickly knocking the fire, held to the first alarm assignment. Truck 8 operated as the 2nd due truck and Engine 30 was assigned RIT. Crews operated for about an hour before going in service.

Early morning fire on B shift. On 3/26/26 about 0430, Box alarm 30-10 was dispatched, unit block of S. Ellamont, for a dwelling fire. Truck 8 arrived on scene to find a 2 story end of the group row home with smoke showing from the attic/roof. Crews from The 30-8 Special found fire in the attic. Crews operated for about 2 hours to place this fire under control

Box alarm 14-70 (3/15/26, 1844 hrs) B shift Dispatched as Hollins and Calverton. E30 arrived to find a 2 story stand alone with smoke showing from a vacant. A mattress fire was found on the 1st floor and was quickly knocked

On Thursday 3/12/26(1830 Hrs),C shift, crews from The 30-8 Special operated on the 2nd alarm with Hazmat in E47's area. Initially dispatched as a brush fire E47 and T8 arrived to find multiple propane tanks, brush and a commercial building off, with flames reported to be as high as 45 feet in the air. The remainder of the box was filled, with special request for the Hazmat unit and Brush Truck. Eventually going to a 2nd alarm. Crews operated for several hours before being placed in service.

On Wednesday A shift, 3/11/26 1713 hrs,crews from the 30-8 Special were dispatched for box alarm 30-82, 300 block of Mt. Holly. E53 arrived on scene to find a mattress fire with minor extension into the dwelling. Crews made a quick knock of the fire. Two occupants were transported to the hospital with minor smoke inhalation

This morning (3/10/26, 0830 hrs) C-shift, crews from The 30-8 special operated on box alarm 36-50 2400 blk of W Lexington, E36 arrived to find a kitchen fire, which was quickly extinguished. T8 operated as the first due truck and E30 was assigned as the RIT. Held with original box alarm assignment

Last night (3/9/26,2320 hrs) E30 B-shift operated on the 2nd alarm of fire in 52's area, 1500 block of Clifton. Rescue 1 came upon this fire while returning to quarters, finding 5 houses off they immediately requested the working fire assignment, upon arrival of BC3 the 2nd alarm was struck out. Crews operated for several hours

Frank transferred in from 47 engine in December of 2025 and has quickly become a welcomed asset to E30 A Shift and to the house.
