Good evening Commodore Families,

Please join us for Coffee at Commodore on Thursday, May 8th at 8:00 AM for a special Financial Empowerment for Parents session.

Families will receive practical guidance on organizing personal and business finances, bookkeeping basics, starting a business, financial literacy, tax preparation tips, and avoiding common tax mistakes.

This session will be hosted by Shaeiy Quintanar, Bookkeeper, Business Consultant, and Financial Educator. A free 15-minute consultation will also be available for attendees.

Les invitamos a Coffee at Commodore el jueves, 8 de mayo a las 8:00 AM para una sesión especial de Empoderamiento Financiero para Padres.

Las familias recibirán orientación práctica sobre cómo organizar sus finanzas personales y de negocio, conceptos básicos de contabilidad, cómo iniciar un negocio, educación financiera, consejos para la preparación de impuestos y cómo evitar errores comunes en impuestos.

Today, we don’t just kick off Staff Appreciation Week, we pause, we reflect, and we honor the heartbeat of our school.

Because the truth is, our staff does far more than what can ever be written in a job description.

They show up early, often before the sun rises, preparing not just lessons, but environments where children feel safe, seen, and supported. They stay late, long after dismissal, pouring into planning, grading, calling families, and thinking through how to reach that one student who needs just a little more.

They carry more than books and binders, they carry stories, emotions, challenges, and dreams. They celebrate victories that may seem small to others but mean everything to a child. They stand in the gap when students need encouragement, discipline, structure, love, and consistency all in the same moment.

Our staff doesn’t just teach content.
They build confidence.
They model resilience.
They create belonging.
They plant seeds that will grow far beyond the walls of our school.

And in a world where it’s easy to highlight what’s missing, we choose today to highlight what is present, dedication, compassion, excellence, and unwavering commitment.

We truly have one of the greatest staffs, not because of titles or accolades, but because of the daily sacrifices, the intentional care, and the genuine love shown to every single child that walks through our doors.

So this week, we don’t just say thank you out of routine.
We say it with depth.
We say it with honor.
We say it with full recognition that what you do matters, more than you may ever fully see.
