School starts tomorrow! Learn and obey the "alternately flashing warning light" system that school bus drivers use to alert motorists:

Yellow flashing lights indicate that the bus is preparing to load or unload children.
Motorists should slow down and prepare to stop vehicles.

Red flashing lights and extended stop arms indicate the bus has stopped, and that children are getting on or off.

Motorists approaching from either direction must wait until the red lights stop flashing before proceeding.

The recent, dangerous Orbeez Challenge
Using a gel blaster, also known as an Orbeez Gun, the latest fad among teenagers urges them to "drive-by shoot" innocent bystanders. Even while Orbeez Guns are harmless in and of themselves, they can still cause harm if striking a person at high speed or land directly in a vulnerable spot like the eyes. The fact that certain gel blaster pistols look like real fi****ms adds to the anxiety and distress that this "trend" can provoke. If your child possesses a gel blaster gun, we strongly advise you to talk with them about the risks involved with this new fad.
