Whether you're learning to sew, trying 3D printing, experimenting with laser cutting, or working on your own project during Open Build hours, our free workshops are designed for adult learners of all experience levels. Beginners are encouraged to attend. Classes are taught by Open Works.

Learn sewing machine basics while creating a simple project to take home.
🪡 Mending Basics
• Sept. 9 | 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Learn how to patch holes, sew on buttons, fix seams, and make simple garment repairs.
🪵 Glowforge: Coaster & Keepsake Box (4-part series)
• Fridays, Sept. 4 through Sept. 25 | 1 to 4 p.m.
Learn laser cutting and engraving while creating a custom coaster and keepsake box.
🖨️ 3D Printing: Make Your Own Trinket Tray
• Sept. 15 | 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Learn the basics of 3D printing while designing and creating a personalized trinket tray.
🔨 Open Build Studio Hours (Completion of at least one CEC Maker training required)
• Sept. 3 | 1 to 5 p.m.
• Sept. 10 | 4 to 8 p.m.
• Sept. 17 | 1 to 5 p.m.
• Sept. 24 | 4 to 8 p.m.
