Baltimore Pride is proud to honor Ronnie L. Taylor as our 2026 Grand Marshal!
A trailblazing advocate, educator, and community leader, Ronnie has dedicated her life to advancing justice, equity, and visibility for LGBTQIA+ communities across Maryland. From leading her high school Gay-Straight Alliance at just 16 years old to becoming the first openly transgender Chief of Staff in the Maryland General Assembly, Ronnie has consistently broken barriers while creating pathways for others.
Today, as Commissioner for the Maryland Commission on Hate Crime Response and Prevention and Community Impact Director at FreeState Justice and FreeState Equality, Ronnie continues to champion policies, partnerships, and community-driven solutions that uplift and protect LGBTQIA+ people throughout our state.
Her unwavering commitment to racial justice, transgender visibility, and community empowerment has made a lasting impact across Maryland and beyond. Through her advocacy, leadership, and service, Ronnie embodies the spirit of this yearโs Charm City Homecoming themeโbringing our community together, honoring our history, and building a brighter future.
