One State, One Future Bring people together and find common ground in order to solve problems, get things done and move our state forward.

One State, One Future was formed to bring people together and find common ground in order to advance an agenda moves Maryland forward by creating jobs, protecting the health of our people, strengthening our schools and laying an economic foundation that benefits all communities. In order to comply fully with the letter and spirit of all applicable federal and state laws and regulations concerning

independent expenditures:

1. All contributions to and expenditures by One State, One Future will be publicly disclosed in reports filed with the State Board of Elections, just like other political committees registered with the State Board of Elections.

2. One State, One Future makes only independent expenditures. It does not and will not make contributions or transfers to candidates or political action committees (PACs).

3. One State, One Future has not received or obtained any non-public information that may have been obtained from any Maryland candidate or party committee.

4. Contributions to One State, One Future are not tax deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes.

Just before midnight, Hogan was ahead by about 100,000 votes, according to results from nearly 90 percent of precincts. Many of the outstanding votes were in Democrat-friendly jurisdictions, including Montgomery and Prince George’s counties and the city of Baltimore. But it seemed unlikely that those votes would be enough to push Brown ahead.

Republican Larry Hogan has overtaken Democrat Anthony G. Brown in the race for governor as early returns continue to pour in throughout the state. With a little more than half of the precincts counted at 10:45 p.m., Hogan led Brown 54 to 44 percent in early returns. Libertarian candidate Shawn Quinn had 1.46 percent of the vote.
