To all the young people, educators, and staff at the schools, Head Start centers, child care centers, and other learning venues who enriched our lives this year, Janice (Mrs. Bubbles) and I want to thank you very much. The young people were delightful -- attentive, bright, responsive, and polite. Thank you to Wegmans Food Markets for a generous grant to support our
organization's "No Body Is Perfect" health and wellness program. Wegmans
is well known for giving back to the communities they serve. Simply put,
they are great. Their variety of high quality food is outstanding. Also, they have
been on Forbes Magazine's annual list of "100 Best Companies to Work For"

March is Women's History Month, which highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. It made me think of the key positions that several very talented women hold in It's About The Kids Education Organization. Ms. Lynn Ann Richardson, President; Ms. Elizabeth (Liz) Rabin, Vice President; and Ms. Julia Flynn Werre, Member-At-Large have given hundreds of hours of their time and talents to help create this nonprofit and to sustain its mission. In addition, I am grateful to key volunteers who have been instrumental in developing our literacy programs which teach children in under served Baltimore communities about essential life skills in a fun way. There is another women without whom this organization could not exist. She is my best friend and loving wife, Janice. She is indispensable in all areas of my life!
