Dirt Bike Enforcement leads to multiple seizures

Baltimore, MD (June 1, 2026) – Members of the Baltimore Police Department continued their efforts to address the illegal operation of dirt bikes and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) throughout Baltimore City.

On Sunday, May 31, 2026, Detectives conducted an enforcement operation in and around Herring Run Park after receiving community tips regarding a gathering of illegal dirt bike and ATV operators. During the operation, detectives seized nine dirt bikes and ATVs as operators attempted to flee the area. Combined with other enforcement actions, BPD seized a total of 11 illegal dirt bikes and ATVs over the weekend.

Anyone with information regarding the illegal operation or storage of dirt bikes and ATVs within Baltimore City is encouraged to contact the Dirt Bike Tip Line at 443-902-4474 or [email protected].

Today, the Northeast District NCO Unit had a great time participating in the Community Fun Day with the Garden Village community!

Our officers shared valuable safety tips, crime prevention information, and updates on upcoming community events while connecting with residents and answering questions.

We were also excited to distribute 20 steering wheel locks to community members as part of our ongoing efforts to help prevent auto theft and keep our neighborhoods safe.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support this wonderful event. Building strong partnerships between the police and the community helps make our neighborhoods safer and stronger for everyone.
