๐Ÿ‚ Help CAN Make the Holidays Brighter! ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿฆƒ

The holiday season is approaching, and Community Assistance Network (CAN) is preparing to bring a little extra joy to local families through our Trunk or Treat and Thanksgiving Turkey initiatives!

Weโ€™re asking our community, partners, and friends to help us make both events a success through monetary donations or donated items.

๐ŸŽƒ Trunk or Treat
Help us create a fun and festive experience for local children by donating candy and other treats or making a financial contribution toward event supplies.

๐Ÿฆƒ Thanksgiving Turkeys
Help us put Thanksgiving dinner on the table for Baltimore County families facing financial challenges. Donations will help CAN provide turkeys to families who may otherwise struggle to afford a holiday meal.

Every donationโ€”large or smallโ€”helps us serve more of our neighbors this holiday season.

๐Ÿ’™ Want to help? Donate today at CanConnects.org/donate or contact April Stevens [email protected] to learn more about donating items or participating in the Trunk or Treat event.

Together, we CAN make the holidays a little brighter for our community!

๐Ÿ“ฃ WEโ€™RE HIRING: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Community Assistance Network (CAN) is seeking a passionate, visionary leader to serve as our next Executive Director and help guide our organization into its next chapter.

For 60 years, CAN has served Baltimore County by helping individuals and families overcome barriers and move toward greater stability and self-sufficiency. Through our Community Choice Pantry, homeless shelter and housing programs, street outreach, and community-based support services, we connect people with critical resources while working alongside our partners to strengthen the communities we serve.

As we celebrate six decades of service and impact, we are looking for a leader who shares our commitment to helping people, strengthening communities, building partnerships, and creating opportunities for lasting change.

โค๏ธ Lead with heart. Inspire hope. Strengthen our community. Help shape CANโ€™s future.

This morning, I visited with the Community Assistance Network, which has provided critical assistance to vulnerable individuals for over six decades. CAN helps families move toward self-sufficiency in many ways, including the use of a food pantry, nutritional workshops, financial assistance, and housing support.

CANโ€™s Dundalk location was full of activity this morning. Thank you so much to Carla Shroyer and Tricia Isennock for their time today and their work on behalf of this organization.
