Good morning, ladies,
Our 2nd Annual Alumni Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015, 7 – 11 p.m. at the Forum. Based on feedback from the last Banquet, this year we will have the awards portion, a DJ and a CASH bar.
Are there any alumni from your programs you think should be awarded? The categories are:
SERVICE
Honors an individual who over the years has served the profession by improving its overall value and effectiveness. The recipient of the award helped strengthen the role of the nurse and/or the allied health professional in our society by devoting themselves to services that help build and nurture the profession.
VISIONARY
Honors an individual with extraordinary leadership. Their innovative efforts on the frontlines of education offers clear and concrete pathways to improved economic opportunities and expanded political and social participation for a marginalized community.
HEALTHCARE
Honors an individual deeply involved and committed to the healthcare industry and believes in contributing and giving back to the industry we serve.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Honors an individual who has contributed significantly to their community.
EDUCATION
Honors an individual who has been devoted to higher education and whose career has significantly advanced healthcare through extraordinary scholarship
PHILANTROPHY
Honors an individual who thorough their tireless work and dedication to philanthropy, have improved the quality of life in their community.
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT
Honors an individual who has “made a difference” in the College of Health Professions and the success of the College. The award provides special recognition to individuals who have provided outstanding service over a sustained period of years to CHP and to its academic community.
