Hello Yorkwood Family!

Our YES staff returned this week to set up, prepare, and get everything ready for an amazing new school year!

Today, we welcomed our new families for New Parent Orientation and hosted our Sneak a Peek event, giving our scholars and their families a chance to visit their classrooms and get ready for what’s ahead.

We are so excited for the 2026–2027 school year, starting Monday, August 24! We can’t wait to see all of our scholars and welcome everyone back to Yorkwood!

Summer learning at Yorkwood wrapped up today! What a wonderful summer filled with learning, growth, laughter, and fun. We are so proud of all our students for their hard work and enthusiasm. Thank you to our amazing staff and families for making this a successful summer program.

Congratulations, 5th Graders!

We are so proud of each and every one of you! Today, our 5th graders took their final walk through the halls of Yorkwood Elementary, cheered on by students and staff from Kindergarten through 4th grade. It was a special moment celebrating all of your hard work, growth, and accomplishments.

As you move on to middle school, know that you will always be a part of the Yorkwood family. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you will achieve.
